When and how to visit the Vasarian Corridor

The Vasarian Corridor is a km-long raised path connecting Palazzo Vecchio with Pitti Palace passing by the Uffizi and over Ponte Vecchio.

This route, which opened in 1565, was invented by Giorgio Vasari for Cosimo I de 'Medici allowing him to cruise "home office" and vice versa without setting foot in the street. Regardless of being a great tourist attraction for people all over the world, it is not always open to the public.

Tours are private, for groups between 10 and 25 people. It lasts about an hour and a half on the whole. The request must be made to the number +39 055 294883.

If you get the green light, visits are from Tuesday to Sunday from 8.15 to 17.15. Tour guide's on demand.
