In the historic street that connects Colle Val d'Elsa in Maremma, at the junction of Casole, there is the Restaurant 'Speranza', which owes its name to the valley in which it is located.

The specialty is grilled meat (as the sign anticipates) to be tried it in all its sauces.

No less are the main dishes, served with a generous seasoning (a must goes to the pici with meat sauce...) along with tasty side dishes (especially peppers, are incredible).

The atmosphere is friendly and the kitchen is open (which is a key factor for caterers ). Prices are up to scratch, especially when compared with the quality and quantity of what you're eating.

Certainly a must for those passing through this famous street surrounded by nature, but also a pleasant diversion for those who want to dine in a place where you can find (or discover for those who have a few more years) the flavors of Tuscan cookery.
