On the 1st floor of the new covered San Lorenzo Market, street food, and so much more

The new Central Market of San Lorenzo repopulates through a really well done renovation of the first floor of this historic building covered in 1874. A pivotal and vital part of the center of Florence bringing in traditional shops and restoring the primary role of the artisans of taste. All courses are cooked on the spot using only raw materials that are sold within the market itself.

Genuine products all up for grabs: quality bread and pastries, fresh fish, fried meatballs, fruit and vegetables, meat and sausages, buffalo mozzarella, cheese, chocolate and ice cream, fresh pasta, wine, beer, lamprey, sandwiches etc. For consumption, you can use any table regardless of the store choice.

Pleasing live music'll be tagging along oft-times. Inside there is also a convenient ATM, several toilets and winking at the Viola fans, a Fiorentina Store.

Wifi password is given out on request at the information desk.

Also worth mentioning the various themed events that're checkable here along with the openings of coking classes and wine tasting.

Echoing the style of the famous London market of Covent Garden, the New Central Market is definitely a place to try.
