Sunday at the Museum 

Free opening of the National Museums


       On September 7 returns "Sunday at the Museum", where all the public museums and archaeological sites can be visited free of charge. By the first time application of the rule of decree Franceschini, in force since July 1, which states that every first Sunday of the month you do not pay the ticket to visit monuments, museums, galleries, archaeological digs, parks and gardens classified as national monuments. Some pearls of Tuscany participating in the initiative are:


In Florence: the Uffizi Gallery, museums of Palazzo Pitti (excluding carriage museum), the Academy Gallery, the Medici Chapels, the workshop of semi-precious stones, the Bargello and the archaeological museum - Egyptian


In Siena: Archaeological Museum, National Gallery


In Pisa: The National Museum of Royal Palace


In Arezzo: National Archaeological Museum "Gaio Clinio Mecenate"
