Grape and Wine Festivals in Tuscany
September: Harvest and ... party!
Always for the farmers in September is a month of harvest but also of celebration. And the Tuscany is certainly no exception, opening its wineries and filling the streets with music and typical products.
We highlight some of these festivals:
Panzano, September 18 to 21, Vino al Vino: wine festival that takes place on the third weekend of September in the main square. To be tasted the wines of most Panzano farmer enterprises, with music and joyful atmosphere as the background.

Chiusi September 19 to 27, Festival of Grapes and Wine: tasting wines and local produce all over! Cellars, tasting points, workshops, you name it. Shows and music'll be offered. Some Chiusi restaurants will provide free food paired with local wines.
Moreover evenings devoted to wine tastings by the Italian Sommeliers.

Scansano, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September, Grape Festival di Scansano: star of the show (of course) "Morellino di Scansano", which will be laid out for free tastings. in cellars of the Old Town, along with oil, cheese and meat.

Impruneta, Sunday, Sept. 27, 83 ° Grape Festival: 1926 revives the tradition of farming grapes, with parades of ornamental floats and wine tasting and local products.
